Real Log Homes packages are available in a variety of woods, log profiles, and corner styles. Choose from regional evergreen species-Eastern White Pine, Southern Yellow Pine, Western White Woods-or Western Cedar. Our log packages feature only graded logs cut from the heart of the log.
Contour - Our most popular profile features a traditional round log look with a uniform and more tailored appearance. Corners are mortise and tenon. Available in standard 8-inch or more economical 7-inch profile. 8-inch pictured in pine.
V-Groove - A "D" profile featuring a uniformly contoured round exterior and a horizontal tongue-and-groove interior. Available with mortise and tenon or contemporary square corners. Available in standard 8-inch or more economical 7-inch profile. 8-inch pictured in Western Cedar.
Clapboard - A traditional clapboard exterior look with the benefits of solid timber construction, it features a contemporary square corner treatment. Available in standard 8-inch profile (6-inch reveal) or more economical 7-inch profile (3 1/2-inch reveal). 7-inch pictured in pine.
Dovetail - The beveled exterior of this 11-inch-high log features a functional drip edge, aesthetic chinking line, and a distinctive corner treatment. Interior is horizontal tongue-and-groove. Pictured in pine.
Swedish Cope - A uniform round profile that is massive and Western, it incorporates the traditional "saddle notch" corner treatment. Available in 8-, 9-, or 10-inch log diameters. 10-inch pictured in pine.

Our Interlock Joinery System helps create a more weatherproof and draft-free home. Two PVC Lockspline connecting strips are installed at all butt joints, corners, windows, and doors to create an effective seal. As the structure settles, the PVC Locksplines maintain a positive seal.
A specially - formulated Norton Log Home Foam V790 hybrid polyurethane gasket runs along the tongue of the log and around butt joints, corners, windows, and doors. This eliminates the need for caulking and chinking. Olympic

Interlock Corner
The baffle and channel interface is designed to compress the foam gasket withn predetermined tolerances for a tighter fit. The "airlock" created by the chamfered edge of the baffle and the channel of the log above provides additional draft protection.
OlyLog fasteners mean faster installation and no pre-drilling or maul damage. Double fastening on both sides of the baffle results in added wall stability.
Precision Pre-cutting
For a precision fit, we pre-cut all corners, butt joints, window and door openings, and gables to roof pitch. Even rafters, joists, and girders are pre-cut and notched. All logs are numbered and lettered for fast, easy, and error-free assembly. Because our packages incorporate more pre-cutting of log components than most other log packages, you save time and money during construction.

Our log packages are manufactured to Log Homes Council Grading Program standards. Blueprints are developed to comply with the Council of American Building Officials (CABO) One and Two Family Dwelling Code. These standards are important when it comes to obtaining financing and meeting local zoning requirements, and they speak to the structural integrity of your home.
